Recommended Remedies for Symptoms

  The remedies and their potencies listed here were compiled using existing homeopathic literature. The primary reference which was consulted is Homeopathic Materia Medica, by William Boericke, M.D. In the preface to the ninth edition, Dr. Boericke states that his work contains the well known verified characteristic symptoms of all the medicines including the published clinical experience of the homeopathic school.   Each remedy may affect a variety of symptoms. Likewise, a particular symptom may be addressed by several different remedies. The selection of potency is also important. The combination of these factors can easily overwhelm the average person when trying to decide which remedy to take. Therefore, it became apparent that a recommended remedies list was in order especially for the newcomer to homeopathy.

  Your condition may present more than one symptom. In this case, more than one remedy may be taken at the same time. This would be called a combination remedy and is common in homeopathy.
